Happy dog provides home-style boarding where your dog will become part of our family during his or her stay. We ensure a safe, comfortable and stress-free environment as well a being OODLES and OODLES of FUN!

We at Happy Dog believe in living the good life! With 50 Acres to explore we spend our days doing just that! We romp around the property chasing one another, we play fetch, we wrestle, we swim in the pond and so much more. At Happy Dog we keep our days filled with activity making for satisfied and tuckered guests by the end of each day.

When bedtime approaches we relax and unwind a bit before heading to individual bedrooms. A comfy Perla bed awaits for a good night sleep. We encourage our guests to bring cozy comforts from home such as bedding and a favorite toy which will help present a familiar resting place.

Happy Dog is located on Sauvie Island, just 20 minutes NW of downtown Portland. Because Happy Dog is part of our home and to keep the disruption to our guests at a minimum we are by appointment only.

This is truly a dogs paradise and from one furry family member to another, we are excited to be able to share it with you!
